VR/AR Software Engineer

Location: Geneva, Switzerland

SpatialStories is a content creation software allowing anyone without coding knowledge to build interactive VR/AR content.

If you own a GearVR and its controller, you can check out Break a Leg, a game that was fully built on the platform. Our upcoming AR app Ko’Ko’s Curse was also built on it, as all apelab’s previous projects.

We’re looking for a top Unity Software Engineer to help us build the next iteration: A creation suite where designers can build interactive scenes directly within a headset using natural language interfaces and machine learning (similar to apps like Google Blox or Tiltbrush). The ideal candidate has a solid knowledge of the fundamentals of engineering and computer science, a solid experience of the Unity Engine and is passionate about pushing Virtual, Augmented Reality to infinity and beyond!

Your Everyday Tasks

- Work directly with the CTO on new features;
- Develop high-quality, modular code that is well engineered and architected to support long-term development and product evolution;
- Collaborate with the Design team to implement new features;
- Keep updated with latest tech advancements;
- Work with an Agile Scrum system.

What we are looking for

- 2+ years of formal training and experience in in software engineering and computer science;
- Excellent software design and programming skills using C# (OOO concepts, events…)
- Good knowledge of the Unity Engine. (Realtime concepts, UI's, Custom Editor windows (in Unity)…)

Skills that will get you noticed

- Experience with Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality (Vive, Oculus, PSVR) and VR SDKs (SteamVR plugin for Unity, Unity VR API, OpenVR) ARKit and ARCore;
- Knowledge of the Unreal Engine.

3D Animator (internship)

We are offering a summer internship for a 3D Animator. You will be in charge of animating various assets in collaboration with the creative team, as well as testing your animations directly in VR.
