Homoculus Sapiens is a series of experimental arcade-games made for Virtual Reality who’s objective are to question the perception and associations made between our heads and the head mounted display. Each game proposes an isolated experience exploring one cognitive phenomenon. The games are exclusively controlled by moving the head. Homoculus Sapiens has been created to inspire game designers and give them a toolbox to think about how gameplay can work in a different way inside a headset.
The goal of this lab project is to use the helmet as a game controller. Interacting only with the headset and the senses such as sight, internal ear, 3D sound, dilatation of the eyes and orientation.
